A good set of four early bentwood bistro type dining chairs by the Czechoslovakian makers Fischel dating to c.1910. The chairs have a bentwood frame with a curved top rail and turned spindles over circular seats with pressed decoration. The legs are slightly splayed for stability and joined with hoop stretchers for strength. All in good solid condition with three of the chairs having a slight split in the outer seat ring at the back.
